Depth Coaching-

Have you ever felt ready to make a shift? To shift into the person you really are or were always meant to be? Do you know the feeling I’m talking about? A feeling like you’ve done all the things you’re supposed to do--the things that society seems to require of us.

Go to school, start a career, find a spouse, get married, buy a house, have children, save for retirement and on and on and on...

You’ve done all those things. Or most of them.  And you’re ready for the next chapter. You’re ready to attend to your soul’s longing.  You’re ready to be the writer or the artist or the activist or the teacher or the healer or the lover or the hero.  Whatever it may be for you, you hear the longing of your soul to do something more, something different, something authentic to your true and highest self.

If you have ever felt that desire…that will help you understand the work that I do.  I help you make the shift.  I help you start attending to your authentic self and striving toward greater integration and wholeness of all the parts of you that have been left in the wilderness while you were dutifully fulfilling all the material and familial responsibilities of life.

Some people get to the point of being ready sooner than others.  But for most people it’s in mid-life where the fog starts to lift and there is a return to more timeless pursuits and interests.  I’m here to help you uncover all that.  I’m here to help you unfurl your creative spirit and direct it toward that which is most meaningful for you in your life, whatever that may be.

The Value of Academic Coaching!

As parents, many of us consider our child's education to be of extreme importance, and worth the significant investment of time and resources.  Some students, while trying their best, need a helping hand to achieve their best performance.  Here is where academic coaching comes in as a valuable resource for your child.  Many students may struggle with certain subject matter at one time or another.  While academic coaching can help resolve this issue, we focus more on helping the student "learn how to learn."  What is the difference between a tutor and an academic coach?  A tutor's goal is to help the student learn the material.  An academic coach, while adequately proficient in most subject matter, focuses on your child's thinking patterns and learning style so that now, and in the future, your child can achieve greater self-sufficiency and self-confidence in the academic arena.  My expertise as a coach, coupled with in-depth knowledge of developmental, cognitive, and educational psychology allows me to work effectively with students to help them surpass their prior performance and achieve greater levels of scholastic success.

My approach to academic coaching helps your child to build and maintain life-long learning "habits" such as critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and hypothetical reasoning abilities!  Who would benefit from academic coaching?  If your son or daughter is currently a student in the Philadelphia/Main Line area, chances are he or she would benefit from academic coaching at some point.  Time spent with an academic coach can provide support to your student at critical points in his or her education, whether in a local public or private school.  More and more is expected of our students each year--the bar is rising!  Academic coaching can be a very effective strategy for helping your child stay excited about school and meet or exceed these rising standards...with confidence and enthusiasm

You can sign up to work with me individually.  We usually meet weekly for a few months and then taper our sessions over time. We talk about what you are wanting & make plans for bringing it to reality. When we work together one-one-one, the fee is $125 per session.

You can work with me in a group program.  Before you start your chosen program, you'll sit down with me (phone, skype, in person) for a planning session ($125). We'll outline your goals and personal action plan for the program. Then you will be enrolled in the group program. You'll be billed $97 every 4 weeks for as long as you choose to participate.

To get started, click on the Appointlet button. Schedule a time for us to talk that works for you. If you don't see a time that works for you, email me and we will find one together. This is a time for you to ask any questions you have, get to know me a little, and we'll decide if sessions and/or a group program is a good fit for you.
